This range of Ni-Cd/Ni-MH battery chargers protects against over charging your battery using delta V control. Its recommended that a charger is selected with a charging current of 0.4C to 1C (C = battery pack capacity). When the battery is full the internal IC will detect the voltage change to prevent over charging. The unit also has a built in discharge function. An optional fuse or polyswitch can be added for reverse polarity protecion, short circuit protection or overload protection
